Supplements for Women

Article by: Wade Last Edit Date: 2020-02-28 07:50:41

I’m going to briefly cover some options for women who want to either build more muscle, raise libido, lose weight, and/or replace hormones.

#1 Lady Anavar (Oxandrolone)

>Build lean muscle, retains muscles with calories are cut

>lose weight, decreased appetite

Lady-Var is just Anavar in a smaller dose; definitely the most popular anabolic steroid for women due to it’s minimal side effects with gain of lean, dry muscle. And with the addition of lean muscle comes fat loss. Anavar does not convert to estrogen, so therefore there is no water retention. Women only need a dose of 5mg a day to see results and this can be bumped up to 10mg per day depending on the person and their fitness goals. I don’t recommend going over that. The half-life of Anavar is roughly 10 hours, so splitting the dose into twice a day is recommended. Lady Var comes in caps.

The cost of a typical 30 days Lady Anavar cycle at 10mg per day: $60

#2 Topical Testosterone Oil

>Increase lean muscle

>Raise libido

>Increase energy levels

And of course, with the increase of lean muscle comes fat loss. However, testosterone can cause a little temporary water retention. For women, a topical testosterone is a good option. Testosterone for women can be mixed in almond oil with no other additives. (Topical testosterone for men is often made with skin disruptors mixed in for higher potency, this is not necessary for women.) Simply apply a half dropper full to the skin; choose an area where veins are close to the surface and no fat for best absorption. A half dropper contains 5mg of test and is enough to have a positive impact. Testosterone in women does much the same thing it does in men, increases sex drive, increases energy, antidepressant activity, increased muscle, increased strength.. women just require a much smaller dose. Testosterone is something that is naturally present in a woman’s body and is a necessary hormone, just in a much smaller quantity than a man. Be warned though, decreased breast size can be a side effect of regular testosterone use. And while its great in small doses, be warned, too much testosterone in women can cause virizilization, the appearance of male characteristics.

Cost for a 30ml bottle, approximately 60 doses: $40

#3 HCG - Human Chorionic Gonadotropin

>Increase lean muscle

> Weight loss, decreased appetite

>Possible healing benefits

>Increased libido

>Anti-aging

HCG is one of my favorite supplements. It’s beneficial for both men and women and can be used for weight loss, anti-aging, lean muscle gains and boost in libido. HCG can be administered in drops under the tongue or as an injectable for using a small insulin needle. It should be injected into fat tissue, belly, butt or thighs are good options here. And, unless you hit a nerve, injections should be relatively painless.

Option 1: Extreme weight loss, anti-aging

For weight loss, take HCG shots for 3 days on a clean diet (no junk food), then decrease calories and continue on HCG for at least another 18 days. With HCG you can decrease calories as low as 600 per day cutting out fat. What HCG does is curve the appetite so you won’t feel like your starving and can go about your day. Also, when you drop weight rapidly, HCG helps to tighten up the skin more than just losing weight with calorie cutting alone. HCG also helps to preserve muscle during a weight loss period. If you do a 600-800 calorie diet, you will inevitable lose some muscle, however, you’ll lose less on HCG. When you extremely cut calories, you will not get muscle gain or libido increase benefits. However, you will get a nice, younger looking glow to your skin. Your body will begin eating all your weak or bad cells, which will have a rejuvenating effect body wide.

Option 2: Mild weight loss, increased libido, increased lean muscle

With this option, eat a healthy, high fat diet: nuts, avocados, wheat bread and peanut butter… Avoid sugar, avoid white bread, avoid too many carbs, some carbs are ok. Appetite will decrease, weight loss will be slower than option 1, but still noticeable, and you will notice a mild increase in strength gains and increase in libido. It’s anecdotal evidence, but I believe HCG also has certain healing effects. A female friend who took it off and on for over a year was able to decrease her thyroid medicine from 60mg per day to 15mg per day. My mom who also took HCG for over a year reported improved vision, which was confirmed when she went to her eye doctor appointment. These things have not been studied, but they are just observations.

Side Effects

There are side effects for women who take HCG. It has been known to slightly increase the length of the menstrual flow; this is not the case for every woman. It is recommended that women do not take HCG while on their period. It has also been reported to start menstrual flows in women who have recently gone into menopause.

Dosing: A dose of about 100 iu is usually appropriate. There are 5000 iu per vial of HCG, you can fill a vile with 2.5ml of bacteriostatic water and measure out ½ units on an insulin needle to get a 100 iu dose. (Email me if you need more detailed instructions on this.)

Cost: The cost of one vial of HCG with insulin needles, and bacteriostatic mixing solution is approximately $90. That is roughly 50 doses of HCG. Since HCG with bacteriostatic water only last for about 3 weeks (I’ve taken it at 4 weeks even), a single person cannot use 50 doses because that would be over 7 weeks. So HGC is perfect for couples… That would be $45 a piece for a 3 week cycle… not bad.

#4 Bioidentical Progesterone

>Weight loss

>Mood

>Sleep

>acne

Progesterone is essential for balancing hormones in women over 30. Around the early 30s is when a woman’s progesterone begins to decline and this is a good time to begin replacement therapy. It’s helpful for decreasing moodiness and symptoms of PMS. Also, progesterone will make periods lighter. (Estrogen stays higher longer, and typically a woman won’t need estrogen replacement till the mid-forties.)

Progesterone has a calming effect and is a balancing hormone to estrogen. This means that progesterone down-regulates estrogen receptors and thus counteracts the effects of excess estrogen, thus preventing things such side effects of excess estrogen as bloating, water retention, moodiness, weight gain, and even preventing estrogen driven cancers.

Other effects of progesterone include better sleep due to its sedative nature, weight loss due to decreasing appetite caused by excess estrogen, and reduction of acne.

Dosing

For premenopausal woman, a dose of 20 – 40mgs should be taken only the last two weeks of the menstrual cycle and stopped before the first day of cycle (first day being the day her period begins). This goes in alignment with a woman’s natural monthly cycle. The first half of the cycle estrogen should be the dominate hormone and the second half of the cycle progesterone is dominant.
For postmenopausal woman a progesterone dose of anywhere between 30-200mg is acceptable. (Dosing is too high when you feel groggy the next day.)

Progesterone can have a sedative effect so it’s best to take it at night and best to take it with a food for best absorption, but can be taken on empty stomach as well.

Warning:

Beware about the difference between bioidentical progesterone and synthetic progestins. Often, if you go to a doctor for hormone replacement therapy, they will try to give you a synthetic progestin. Bioidentical progesterone is safe and has the effects mentioned above. Synthetic progestins are chemicals that fit into the bodies progestin receptors but are not actually progesterone. Synthetic progestins cause cancer, do not downregulate estrogen cells, often have similar effects of excess estrogen and do come all the benefits of a bioidentical progesterone.

Cost

Transdermal progesterone can be bought over the counter for about $14 for a tube with 65 pumps of 20mg per pump. Note that transdermal progesterone is not as potent as oral progesterone. One will need a higher dose of transdermal progesterone verses oral progesterone. Also, transdermal progesterone does not have the same sedative effect as progesterone taken orally.
Progesterone caps start at $45 for 60 20mg caps. If you have more questions, just shoot me an email.

#5 HGH – Human Growth Hormone

>Anti-aging

>Increase lean muscle

>Energy

>Increased libido

Hgh is just an all-around good hormone for a anyone to take. Hgh will help you heal up faster if you have an injury, or help you to recover from workouts faster. When taking hgh, one will also notice an increase in energy, so you feel a lot more like going to workout and will likely do some harder workouts. While hgh is not an anabolic steroid, it does help heal connective tissue faster and it promotes fat burning and lean muscle. I did not list weight loss above, though hgh can help curve appetite, it also will cause mild water retention too.

Basically, you can just think of hgh as a hormone that will make you feel about 10 years younger. It also has the effect of boosting the immune system, which is why this is personally one of my favorite hormones. (It can be taken by both men and women.)

The downside of hgh is the cost and also the length of time you need to stay on it to get befits. You have to also be careful who you use to supply your hgh. Hgh from an unreliable source could cause allergic reactions to impurities or may even be fake. Often hcg is sold in place of hgh by unscrupulous vendors.

The cost of hgh is about $400 for a 4 month’s anti-aging supply.

#6 Bioidentical Estrogen

>anti-aging

First off, don’t take estrogen unless you need it. And for women, you’ll only need estrogen if you have reached the age where your body’s natural estrogen is starting to drop off or if you have had surgery removing ovaries. Estrogen is essential in maturing women for maintaining younger looking skin, hair and nails. Estrogen replacement also diminishes symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, decreased libido, and loss of mental clarity. Estrogen also plays an important role in protecting bone density and preventing osteoporosis.

What you need to know about estrogen is that there are 4 naturally occurring estrogens in women. They are as follows:

(E1)Estrone – This is the predominate estrogen in post-menopausal women. This kind of estrogen can be made in fat cells. This particular estrogen is not one that is replaced with hormone replacement therapy.

(E2)Estradiol – This is the primary hormone during reproductive years and it also has the most estrogenic activity of all the estrogens. (“Estrogenic activity” refers to causing estrogenic effects such as enlargement of breasts and water retention.)

(E3)Estriol – This is the estrogen that is dominate during pregnancy. This estrogen has the least estrogenic effects of all the estrogens, and has been a useful estrogen in hormone replacement therapy. It still has the benefits of estrogen without as many side effects.

(E4)Esterol– Esterol is closely related to estriol, they are both weak forms of estrogen, not having as much estrogenic effect as E1 or E2. Only esterol is only present during pregnancy and at no other time in a woman’s life.

The two main estrogens used for hormone replacement therapy are estradiol and estriol. When used in hormone replacement therapy, the ratio is 20 estradiol to 80 estriol. If you are low on estrogen, it is essential to replace it for increased energy, stronger bones, better hair and nails, and sharper mind… If you are over the age of 45, this is something you may want to look into.

Beware:

Only use bioidentical estrogen, which comes in the types mentioned above. Birth control is made of synthetic estrogen and can cause depression, cancer and other unwanted side effects such as weight gain. As a matter of fact, if you are on a hormonal birth control, get off it. Find a non-hormonal option.

Cost

For bioidentical estrogen can be taken as a cap .25mg:1mg ratio of estradiol to estriol, 50 caps for $40, or 100 caps for $60.

Transdermal estrogen .25mg:1mg per ml can be purchased for $30 for 30ml.

#7Clenbuterol

>weight loss

Clenbuterol, known as Clen for short, speeds up metabolism. It’s great for weight loss for people who are needing to lose those few extra vanity pounds but are already in pretty good shape. If you consider yourself “overweight” this is probably not the place to start, I’d recommend trying some HCG first if you need to lose several extra lbs.

Cost

There typically are 100 caps per bag. Each capsule contains 0.04 mg (40 mcg) of Clenbuterol. The cost per bag is $90.

#8Thyroid

>Good for replacing low thyroid, don’t use this if you have a normal thyroid
If you have a normal, healthy functioning thyroid, don’t use thyroid hormone. It could cause your thyroid to become weaker down the road.

You might have a low thyroid if you have some of these symptoms:

-Get cold easily – if you are hot all the time, you don’t have a low thyroid, don’t use thyroid meds… however, if you get cold hands and feet and sometimes feel like you can’t get warmed up, you might have hypothyroidism

-Sounds irritate you – ticking clocks, people eating too loudly (although that can be irritating to anyone)

-Feeling tired often for no reason

-Gain weight easily

-Feel like you need to lay down in the middle of the day

-Fibromyalgia – ache muscles for no reason

The best way to see if you likely have a thyroid problem is to use a thermometer and take your body temperature right when you wake up every morning. If you are getting reading below 97, you likely are a good candidate for thyroid medication. Note that your body temperature will vary throughout the month according your monthly cycle. The few days right before your period will be highest, don’t go off of these days, look at your body temperature right after your period ends. Take temperatures for at least week. Some people will naturally run lower than the 98.6 average, but if they are too low, if some temps are under 97, or even hoovering around the low 97s, you might be in need of thyroid treatment.

Thyroid treatment can make a world of difference and greatly increase quality of life. If you think you might have low thyroid, do some more research, feel free to shoot us any questions and we’ll send you in the right direction.

For thyroid treatment, it’s best to use thyroid-s or Armour thyroid, these are animal derived and have both T3 and T4 forms of thyroid. Stay away from synthetic thyroid medications such as levothyroxine or synthroid. These are synthetic forms of thyroid and only contain T4. Many people do not see improvement of thyroid condition when taking synthetic thyroid.

This is anecdotal evidence based, but if you do have low thyroid, you may try a long stent on hcg or hgh. I have known these to improve thyroid conditions of people when used on and off over a period of a year or more. (Use for a month, take a break, use for another month…) It’s worth trying…

Thyroid medication can be obtained for a little at $15 per month. Email if you have more questions...
