Qucik Answer -Anabolic Androgenic Steroids Are Mostly Safe The general answer here is, in moderation, for a healthy person, they are safe and can even be beneficial! However, there are dangers when they are taken out of moderation, but this is true with just about everything. Too much sugar can kill you, too much sun can kill you, over eating can kill you and over doing steroids can too… I’d venture to say a round of steroids is easier on your health than eating McDonalds and drinking Mountain Dew on daily basis… So what is “moderation” when it comes to anabolic steroids? Everyone’s body is different, and we all will react differently to what we put into it; we’ve all got a different chemistry and so different tolerances to what we put into our bodies. Some people can die from peanuts, some people don’t tolerate milk or gluten… Some people can spend hours in the sun with no damage, others are more prone to skin cancer and wrinkles… Some people can party hard, drink their weight in alcohol and barely have a hangover while others can really feel it the next day after two beers… And this same logic applies to steroids. What is “moderate” for you may not be the same as what’s “moderate” for the next guy (or lady). On this site we are strong believers are starting with low doses and going from there. And when starting a new substance, try taking it on its own for at least a short period of time to see how your body reacts rather than stacking. Also, a short (moderate) duration is a smart idea too to see how well your body bounces back to making its own testosterone again after the fact. Starting with a 30 days cycle for oral steroids or six week cycle for injectables would be a good place and you may not ever need to increase cycle length from this. More is not better. Higher does may not be absorbed efficiently, thus wasting your money, while taxing your liver and causing numerous side effects. Let Your Body Rest Between Cycles Always give your body time to rest after a cycle. One of the reasons that we see people have adverse side effects or even die from steroid use is that they are abusing these substances. Steroids are not meant to be taken for several months consecutively or for an entire year or more. Steroids are safe when taken for a short duration. For a healthy individual, taking steroids for a short period, 1-2 months at a time, should have very little permanent side effects. Taking steroids for half a year or more could lead to high blood pressure, elevated bad cholesterol, strain on cardio vascular system, strain on the liver… Just don’t do it. Benefits The reason these steroids exist in the first place is that there are benefits to them when used responsibly. Many of these anabolic steroids were originally created for medical uses and are useful for curing anemia, healing joints and connective tissue or preventing muscle wasting in sick people. And of course making you big and achieving fitness goals, which I see nothing wrong with. Anabolic Steroids are Not All the Same Certain forms of anabolic steroids are safer than others. For example, taking a round of Anavar will be less hepatotoxic (meaning toxic to the liver) than most other oral steroids. ( This is one reason for Anavar’s popularity.) To Sum It Up Taking steroids responsibly and always following up with a post cycle can significantly aid in your fitness goals and boost your confidence thus increasing the overall quality of your life. So steroids for many can be safe and worth dealing with side effects. Stay safe, strong and free! ♦ |
